I like that they are open late - until 10pm on a weeknight! The inside is also clean and bright. They have an extensive bubble tea menu with reasonable prices. We got a large red bean milk tea with top cream and boba, and the total came to about $6.50. You can also customize how much ice and sugar. We got 50% sugar but I think next time maybe a bit more would be more optimal.

Their basil fried popcorn chicken ($5) is also a great deal! They give lots of chicken and it's pretty tender thigh meat.

To start, it's pretty loud in here. I really had to raise my voice to be heard over the music and conversations while ordering. Even still the cashier misheard me when I asked for 50% sweetness, and he wrote down 30%. The 3 drinks we ordered came out within 5 minutes.

I got a roasted oolong milk tea with boba, 30% sweet. The milk tea has a subtle tea flavor which is nicely balanced with the milk. I actually liked it 30% sweet because it was not very sweet, and I don't like my milk tea to be too sweet. The boba itself had no honey or even syrup flavor and was completely flavorless. The texture of the boba was not very good. They were chewy but not really bouncy. I would almost call them a firm mushy, and would not order the boba again.

I usually get the grass jelly here which is somewhat flavorless but a nice smooth and soft textural element to add to your drink. They also give a lot of grass jelly. In fact they give so much that I usually have some grass jelly left over after finishing my drink.

Overall, this place isn't my top place for boba, but if you're desperate, this will probably get the job done. The drinks are relatively cheap compared to other boba places but definitely a lower product quality.

PARKING: Free street parking. There are plenty of spots on weekdays, but it gets really crowded on weekends, including the parking lots. I recommend parking at Safeway and walking.

AMBIANCE: Cool and modern looking with lots of cool blues. Tons of board games to play!

TEA: the great part about T4 is the customization options. There are also so many different flavors of tea to choose from. I got the matcha with fresh milk, 100% sweet and 30% ice. The matcha quality was so-so, but It was nonetheless delicious! The matcha might be too sweet for some, so I recommend lowering the sweetness.
The boba was reasonably priced  @ $3.75.

FOOD: I tried the fried mushrooms, fried spring rolls, and basil chicken. In terms of value, the fried mushrooms were overpriced -- $5 for like 10 slices of fried shitake. The mushrooms were flavorful, but dry. Chicken, also $5, is the best value: large pieces and moist yet simultaneously crisp. The spring rolls were literally crispy egg rolls.

Came here for a quick boba run and it was not worth it. I ordered the iced rose tea and the cashier asked if I wanted it sweetened and I said No. My friend ordered the popcorn chicken. The tea took about 10 minutes, and when I took a sip, it was overly sweet. I didn't want to ask them to remake it bc the cashier was not friendly so I just stuck with it. My friend's popcorn chicken took awhile and when it was finally ready, she added some chili powder over it. She said the chicken was so BLAND. There was zero seasoning and the chili powder didn't even help enhance the flavor.

Received an email saying that $2.50 for all drinks, ended up charging me this trash drink for $4.10 including taxes. Seriously, if you are around Millbrae and looking for legit milk tea (especially with cream on top), just go to Search Tea which is less than 5mins drive from T4 Millbrae location. I went to Search Tea and ordered the same drink (Cheese Mousse Osmanthus Tea) on the same day, and I totally tell the different! I had to trash the T4 Osmanthus Tea with Cream right the way and decided NEVER EVER go back again T4 even they might send me another stupid promotion email..I would rather save two T4 drinks money for one Search Tea drink!!
People here, please trust me you deserve a better drink!!
